Mark Twain Elementary Scholastic Book Fair
Monday December 4th thru Thursday December 7th
Stock your children’s bookshelf with the latest and greatest Scholastic books, mark off holiday gift shopping, and support our wonderful Mark Twain Elementary library. Every purchase from the Book Fair earns rewards for our school.

Book Fair is cashless. Parents may shop with credit cards, and students may shop using their Scholastic e-wallet.

Students are encouraged to participate in the Writing Prompt; details are included on Parent Square and in the flyer sent home in the Tuesday Folder
Every entry earns a chance to win a free book from the fair AND the opportunity to read their story on the morning announcements

Tiger Family Night, Dec. 7th 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Join the fun on Tiger Family Night! Families shop, children play and participate in story time, and dinner from Chick-Fil-A will be available for purchase.
Storybook Character Parade, Dec 8th 7:45 a.m.
Students dress up as their favorite book character and take their creativity on display. Parents can enjoy from the sidewalk while students parade around the track in this favorite event.
Sponsor a Fellow Twain Tiger
Donate any amount to a book sponsorship e-wallet to ensure all Twain Tigers go home with a new favorite book.
Books Between Kids Book Drive
Make space on your bookshelf while sharing a love of books with other Houston children. Bring gently loved books to donate to Books Between Kids. Donation bins will be located all week at the front school entrance.
Volunteers needed!
Whether you have a lot or a little time to give, volunteer help is needed! Everything from setting up Book Fair to helping children shop requires parent volunteers. Volunteers must be VIPS approved. Please visit Parent Square to sign up!
