Book Fair

Book Fair week is on its way!

The Fair will have an exciting selection of affordable books for every reading level. And the week will be filled with many exciting literary events.

Award winning author, Don Tate (Strong as Sandow, Poet: The Remarkable Story of George Moses Horton), will visit Mark Twain Elementary and talk to the students about his life and experiences as an author and illustrator.

Wednesday morning we will continue our beloved tradition of the Storybook Parade where students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character. Stick around after drop off and watch students and teachers parade around the school grounds!

Monday and Tuesday, students can invite a loved one to Books and Bundtinis at lunchtime. Purchase a book and enjoy a mini bundtini while you lunch with your student.

And finally, our Thursday Family Night will include meet and greets with local authors, live readings from our treasured Twain teachers, a chance to be a Book Fairy and much, much more.
