Parent Education

Our parent education program strengthens and supports our community through an ongoing dialogue with parents.

Throughout the school year, we invite experts to engage our parents in conversations about a wide array of topics including, but not limited to, child safety, family nutrition, healthy technology habits, positive parenting strategies, and finding the best summer camps.  Our topics are selected based on interest expressed by our parent community.

We actively support our school’s involvement with +Works, a program that seeks to get ahead of bullying by promoting positive thinking and action at home and at school.  Our +Book Club meets once each semester to read and discuss a chosen book on positive parenting.

Twain Library

Houston Playback Theatre kicks off our Parent Enrichment program with an exciting evening of improvisational theatre for grown ups. Enjoy a delightful evening as the true stories of the Twain community come to life through this unique form of theatre. A story, a thought, or even just a feeling shared ignites an evening filled with real life drama performed on the spot by the Playback actors. Throughout the performance, actor and audience alike are reminded of the many connections we all share, but often forget.
